Ingredients
  

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cups grated zucchini squeezed slightly
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan lightly with oil or butter.

Mix Dry Ingredients

  • In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon until evenly combined.

Mix Wet Ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk sugar, brown sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Add Zucchini

  • Stir grated zucchini into the wet mixture. Mix well to distribute moisture evenly throughout the batter.

Combine Mixtures

  • Gradually add dry ingredients into wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.

Add Chocolate Chips

  • Fold chocolate chips into the batter evenly. This adds extra chocolate flavor and texture to the bread.

Pour into Pan

  • Transfer batter into prepared loaf pan. Smooth the top with a spatula for even baking.

Bake the Bread

  • Bake for 50–55 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with few crumbs.

Cool and Serve
