  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sugar for topping

Instructions
 

Preheat the oven

  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a muffin tin with paper liners to prevent sticking.

Mix dry ingredients

  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir well to distribute evenly.

Prepare wet ingredients

  • In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs and vanilla until smooth and well combined.

Combine mixtures

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix the batter.

Add strawberries

  • Fold chopped strawberries into the batter. Mix lightly so they spread evenly without crushing.
