Ingredients
  

For Sweet Potato Filling

  • 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

For Topping

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter cold, cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

Prepare Filling

  • In a bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla and cinnamon until smooth.

Transfer to Dish

  • Spread mixture evenly into prepared baking dish.

Make Topping

  • In another bowl, mix brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add pecans.

Add Topping

  • Sprinkle topping evenly over sweet potato mixture.

Bake

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes until top is golden and filling is set.

Serve

  • Let cool slightly and serve warm.
