Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 lbs round steak cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 bell pepper sliced
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
 

Prepare the Steak

  • Season steak with salt, pepper and paprika. Dredge lightly in flour to coat evenly.

Brown the Meat

  • Heat oil in a skillet. Cook steak pieces until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.

Cook Vegetables

  • In the same pan, add onions and bell peppers. Cook until soft and slightly caramelized.

Add Liquid Ingredients

  • Pour in diced tomatoes, beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well to combine flavors.

Return Steak to Pan

  • Place browned steak back into the pan. Make sure pieces are covered with sauce.

Add Seasoning

  • Sprinkle garlic powder and adjust salt if needed. Stir gently.

Simmer Slowly

  • Cover and cook on low heat for 1–1.5 hours until steak becomes tender.

Check Tenderness
